Back when faith and beliefs were deeply connected to magic, the highest aspiration of our people was to fulfil their spiritual quest. The journey of Shamto starts where light meets obscurity and gives place to imagination, their recital echoes old legends and mysteries of ancient people...


In the north lands of the west shores, a new beginning is honoured by the shamrocks. When smoke takes hold of the skies and tears cast down from their prayers, an enchantment reveals a new day.
One man lets himself leave, carried by the waves of the restless stream.


Grounded on a isolated beach, he is welcomed by the ancient of the island. The shaman then shows him the way to follow, the road who takes to the great open and meets long trials and struggles. He now has to retrace his destiny inside the forest, belong to the nature and be introduced to the rites of life and death.


Walking along, the sounds of whispers become more and more real, until one cannot hear anything else. Incantations begin to fill his body and mind. Spirits wait for him at the foot of the white mountain, drinking around the sacred fire. A bitter cup is handed to him. The gates of Heimdall open, bringing light over his questions and doubts.


His reward becomes a sufferable pain to endure, awakening his heart, flesh and bones. Through the silence of his wounds and the calm of his breath, he continues his journey without fearing the frost devouring and deforming his skin. When morning comes over the faraway coral reefs, he sets the sails of his ship. The scent of flowers bring him the feeling of a new freedom, the sweet freshness of the breeze spreads hope and peace.


Suddenly, the scream and blood of eagles reveal a terrifying battle. He runs away from burning rivers and villages, through light and fire, finding his shelter into the desert. In the realm of spectres, shadows turn into fears of his hunger and thirst. His soul is troubled in the very depths of his heart.


Getting closer to the grim summits, he crosses hills and cliffs searching for the deliverance of his destiny. Everything becomes clear and quiet among the clouds, the nearest place to Gods. He is letting him sweep away freely on the crests of the mountains.
